Studio Policies
DISCLAIMER
These policies outline the rules and regulations of our studio, in order to ensure a positive and beneficial experience for everyone. Please read and review it carefully to ensure full understanding, and reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment Terms - Tuition may be paid on a weekly basis, or per semester. Please note that all payments must be made prior to our lessons.
Weekly Lesson Payments - Tuition for weekly lessons must be sent prior to our lessons each week
Payments per semester - Tuition for payments per semester must be paid 7 days prior to the first lesson of the season
Payment Methods - All payments will be made either by cash or e-transfer
CANCELLATIONS & MAKE UP LESSONS
Cancellations - All rescheduling and cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to our lesson. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of our lesson time will not be refunded
Make-Up Lessons - Make up lessons are provided for all cancellations made prior to the 24 hour cancellation time
Teacher Absences - If an event arises that the teacher is unable to attend a lesson, make-up lessons will be scheduled at a time convenient for both the teacher and the student
Punctuality - All students are expected to arrive 5 minutes prior to their lesson start time. Any missed time exceeding 5 minutes will not be made up (extenuating circumstances not included). If you do anticipate being 5-10 minutes late, please reach out to your teacher in advance in order to discuss arrangements
OTHER EXPECTATIONS
Practice & Homework - Students are expected to practice techniques and repertoire throughout the week in order to prepare for the following lesson.
Parent Expectations - Learning is collaborative. Please work with your child to help encourage healthy habits in a positive, comfortable environment
Food and Drink - While food is not permitted, we encourage you to attend our lessons with a bottle of water
Respect - Zero tolerance policy for disrespect for verbal abuse. Teacher reserves the right to terminate all future lessons
Communication - Our preferred method of communication is text or email. Please ensure both are available
